Working at GT Bikes was a dream come true for my childhood self. I started racing BMX at age 6 and continued up until high school. My favorite project while working at GT was my redesign for the Ultra Box 2. The original Ultra Box was the most advanced BMX race frame ever designed and our intent was to set the bar high again. The design was a full monocoque carbon fiber frame, the first in the category and lightest BMX bike on the market. The bike was ridden in the 2008 Olympics by Australian rider Luke Madill.
